Fees

I am open about fees it is important that you know approximate costs at the start.

Case length can vary but in my experience the following applies:

Separation/Divorce

No complex finances or family home, pensions roughly equal, Agreement on parenting already reached. No Parenting Plan needed.

1-3 sessions

More complexity and discussion needed around finances – pensions to be discussed and considered, Family home to be agreed upon, not full agreement at start, some discussions needed around parenting and communication. Option generating needed in parts to reach decisions.

3-5 sessions

6 sessions: Sometimes an issue may need an extra session, this may be a specific financial or be around future agreement on parenting. Perhaps if one or more of your children has additional needs extra time it will be useful to further discuss needs and plans.

Very occasionally a mediation may need more sessions but working with both clients to prepare for sessions should avoid this in most cases.
